I just got the eail for the pre owner " Hi D , You got a nice piece, I had a lot of good 5.90's run in the car. I don't know how it set up now but it looks the same. If you need help tuning or driving how to drive it just call or Email. I have taught 2 others how to drive it. It can be tricky and if you goof up it will cost a bunch of parts. Here are some photos of the car when we had it and what we have now. My son races also. He is 18 and runs with the world of outlaws on dirt. He has been 200 mph in my dragster also. it's probably goes around 2500- 3000 HP , up to the Blower overdrive ratio (Boost), Keith Balck engine is the best ever have for the American V8 Engine, 1) It's Hemi ( hemispherical combustion chamber design ) designed by Chreysler which provide more horse power gain among other V8 design ( GM, Ford, etc ) as the same Engine Capacity (CC). 2) Ketih Black , Aluinum Block Stage 6 , means no water circulation inside the blcok, mean weightless and stronger as it is a solid block 3) Why Keith Black ??? the keith Balck engine design especially for race only, it's easy to take everything out in 15-20 mins , the whole block become a pieces. 4) engine can be used with either pure Alcohol or Additional of Nitro-methane ( 20 % -50 % )with Alcohol, and also can be used with Pure Nitro-methane aswell.
Khun D, I am happy to see that you are 'doing it the right way' -- learning how to tune, maintain, and drive the car from the previous owner. These cars are very complicated to run. They require constant and expensive maintenance. The window for the correct tuning set-up is very narrow (and our track is not as good as those in the States - no traction spray), and if you break something it is very expensive to repair. I look forward to seeing your funny car run. I am sure you will do a great job.
